Land Of The Horses

Trance shook his head once more. "I'm not leaving," he said. "Not until I know that you're alright." And from hearing her coughing, I knew that she wasn't. Seeing her fade in and out of consciousness (that's how u spell it lol), Trance grew more and more worried about her...

"Nor am I" i said frowning. In mid sentence, he grew un-conscious. "Oh no..." i whispered, worrying. I looked to Trance, "What do we do?" i said, nuzzling Rose.

I shivered and said,"No.Just go.It is a family problem." There was too much in-breeding.We had glitches in our line. Each one of us had a sickness every winter.All of my other ones were colds.I didn't know what this was.Milo walked up behind me and glared at Trance then layed down, letting me lean on him.

I sighed. " We are also your family Rose, we cannot leave you " I said, watching Milo glare at Trance. I eyed him and snorted.

I sighed."I know."I said.I closed my eyes and tried to sleep. All I could think about was Mira.Was she okay?Did she already find a mate?All of these question swarmed in my head as Twilight layed* down next to me.I smiled and triend to go to sleep.

(lol i no, finally :P i couldnt get on the computer, i was banned :P)

I smiled as Rose rested and Twilight lay down next to her. I nuzzled Trance and called for Poppy, and she came running over. "Whats wrong?!" she exclaimed then saw Rose laying on the floor. She gasped then whispered to me "Is she ok?" i then explained about Rose's problem and she nodded.

(hey! im so sorry! im finally back! ive been on on my phone but i couldnt post! 'cause for some reason you cant reply on your phone...oh well. but i was watching you all post and i wanted to post so bad but i wasnt allowed on the computer *pouty face* but here i am and here ill stay!)

I watched as Rose layed down and coughed, it was like any normal cough, it sounded, wet in a way, like her lungs were filled with water, or...blood. I watched, wide eyed and in horror as she coughed once again, only this time, she coughed up blood. I went straight to her side and looked down at Kangaroo and yelled, "What's happening to her?!" I layed down on her other side and watched as continued to cough. I looked up when Trance came over and layed down to nuzzle Rose, Ursu was standing awkwardly, like he didn't know what to do. I nodded at him, trying to tell him to come over by me. Milo soon arrived, snorting at Trance, *ugh, stallions. always the jealous type* I thought to myself. Coming back to reality, I heard Rose starting to protest to us, telling us to go, and leave. Everyone started to tell her we weren't going to leave her side, and for the first time I noticed Poppy and Twilight were here with us. Their faces were of concern, fear, and a small bit of curiosity. I turned back to Rose and said, "Rose, please don't try to protest, you're coughing up blood, and I bet you can't even stand." Immediatly after I said, "ut, don't try. We all aren't going to leave your side, not once." I tryed to manage a smile, or a little humor in my voice, "You're stuck with us." I'm not sure it worked, and couldn't help but cry, Rose was practically my sister. I whispered in her ear, "Please." I turned to Ursu and layed my head on his back, letting the tears fall slowly and silently. (OH AND GUESS WHAT. I'M FINALLY 14 )

~OMG! I missed your b-day?I can't believe that!~

"I am fine."I said as I shifted uncomfortably with everyone around.My eyes were dark and dull.They had no life to them.I knew they cared about me.I snorted and tried to go to sleep on Milo.Mybe they will let me sleep without thinking that I was going into a coma.I thought.I smiled and got comfortable.

~If you don't stay then I will come to ur house and make sure you WILL get on! You got that! You made me post w/ newbies! How could yuo?!?!?!~

I watched Rose drift asleep, I hoped she was going to sleep at least. I figured she was and my muscles loosened, a little. I started to fall asleep also, except I was on Ursu, not Milo, I listened to his heart beat, and his steady breathing, it soothed me and I soon fell asleep.

(oh ny the way, Valley, I just got that book! have you read it yet?! i havent )

(what book? Tricks? of course i've read it!!! lol. i bought it the day it came out on August 25th. no1 can keep me away from ne Ellen Hopkins books lol. i warn u tho. if u can't deal w/ like HIGH details, don't read it. it's a rly evil book)

I glanced around to the others and sighed. "We should let her sleep...," I said to them. I then glanced to Milo. "And it's your job to alert us if you see something wrong with her," I said to him. "She loves you. It's your responsibility to keep her safe." I then looked to Kangaroo and Poppy and nuzzled them. "We should go," I said to them as I stood. Ursu meanwhile nuzzled Star and watched as she slept. He wrapped his head around her, not moving with the others so as not to disturb her...

~The NEXT DAY~

I woke up and stretched.I stood up and tried to take a step forward.I was wobbly, but I made it.Milo jumped up and helped me to the water.I smiled and drank enough to last me throughout the day.I nickered softly to Twilight.I nuzzled Milo."Stay here."I whispered to him.He nodded, not knowing what I was going to do.I smiled and trotted into the forest, looking for Mira.As I searched, I herd her voice."No.Go away."She said.I stiffened at turned into a canter.I stopped at the edge of the trees of a field.A forcer was there.I watched as he got his helpers hold her.He mounted.I watched, horrified.Now I know how my mother felt when she saw me forcebred.When he got done, she was cryingand in pain.I looked her over, she was bleeding too.I stepped out of the woods and said,"Leave her alone." He smiled and came to me.I smiled and flicked my tail at him.He smiled and followed me to Mira.I nuzzled her to come back with me.When I nudged Mira, she ran back to Star.When I was leaving, he mounted and bred me.I kicked him and his fell off, but I knew I was going to have another foal.I had scratches all over me and I had blood too.I walked through the woods, my head hung low.

I woke up about an hour later, Rose was still sound asleep, I stood up and smiled at Ursu, and asked, "How long have I been asleep?" Milo was also still awake, Rose and I had both fallen asleep on them and left them unable to move. I smiled and walked over to Trance, with Ursu beside me. I looked over at Kangaroo and said, "How have you been?" I never really had a conversation with Kangaroo, and I hadn't talked to her for a long time. Rose had finally woken up and went to get a drink with Milo, he stopped and she went into the woods. I started to walk over, and once I got to Milo I asked, "Why are you still here and not with her?" I didn't sound angry, I sounded calm. Mira ran out, crying and bleeding, she ran straight to me, I asked her frantically,, "What happened? Where's your mom?" I galloped into the woods, and finally found Rose, she had her head hung low, and she was bleeding also. I started to cry and went over to her, hugging her around her neck with my head. "Rose, I'm so sorry, you tried your best." I then saw behind her, a clearing and I walked over to it. There was a forcer stallion laying on the ground, Rose had kicked him, right where he didn't want to be kicked! I smiled and walked over, I reared up and landed down hard on his ribs, I heard them crack, I had come down hard enough to break them and cause him to suffer, but not enough to kill him. I trotted out, back to Rose and lead her back to Trance, Milo, Kangaroo, Poppy, Mira, Twilight and Ursu.

I snorted."Mira.I told you about forcers."I said when we were back in the field."I know mom.He played with my mind."She said.I nuzzled her and said,"I know how you can feel so stupid after that, it is just what happens in life."When I nuzzled her, all of the memories of my father came flooding back, scarring me.I flinched and trotted to the water.I went in deep enough to get all of the blood and dirt off.I came out, and shook.I smiled and nodded towards Star.I walked to a tree, and reared up, getting a fresh apple in my mouth.When I heard whinnies couming from Milo's herd, I dropped the apple and just stared over there.You could hear the screaming foals, the terrified whinnies of the mares.I shivered and trotted over there, despite Milo telling me not to.I hid behind some bushes and watched them.Without me knowing, I stepped out.In shock, everyone stopped.The stallions stopped thrusting into the mares.The foals stopped to look at me.The mares smiled and bobbed their heads.Something made them stop.I turned to see Milo behind me.He looked even more evil than the day he forcebred me.I trembled and stepped out of the way.He seemed taller than he was before.Stronger, meaner too.His eyes held flames and hiss hooves looked like they were made of steel.I watched as he chased the stallions away.The mares and foals came to him but he looked sad."What's wrong?"I asked him even thoiugh I knew.

(jeez all these crazy forcebreeders xD )

As Rose walked away I stayed with Mira, trying to comfort her and stop her crying, "It's ok, it's happens to everyone at least once." I looked into her eyes and said, "Don't look into their eyes, and just think of how much of a disgusting creature they are. Then they won't play with your mind." I smiled reasurringly at her and looked back over at Rose, she had gotten an apple and now was wandering in the woods towards Milo's herd. I watched as Milo stormed by and went straight into the woods after her. I looked back at Ursu, fear in my eyes. I turned back to the woods and started to walk towards them. I heard large hooves hitting the ground and fading away. Mares and foals were yelling and screaming. I whispered, "Forcers..." I trotted into the woods and found Milo, he was huge, mean, and looked a little sad. Rose was beside him, trying to find out what was wrong. The rest of Milo's herd was scattered, mares here, foals there. All scared.

He frowned."I should'vebeen here to protect them."He whispered.I snorted and nuzzled him.I had nothing to say.I smiled and kissed him, looking towards Star.I smiled and walked back inro the field, trotting towards the apple tree. Everything was nice and calm.
